About our beginner surf lessons

Our beginner surf lessons here in Mawgan Porth, Newquay last for 2.5 hours, with all the equipment you will need included within the price. Our beginner surf lessons include a safety brief, talk on rip currents (including how to avoid and get out of one safely), an introduction to your equipment and the important practical lesson on how to catch waves and stand up on your board (we have a 95% stand up rate on our lessons). When booking your surf lesson, do let us know if it is your first time experience or whether you are aiming to progress your surfing to the next level. We will make sure you are put into a group of surfers of the same ability and experience. We work on a maximum instructor to student ratio of 1:8 to ensure that each student has the appropriate level of guidance and tuition.

We advise arriving 15 minutes early to allow time to get kitted up before the lesson.
