KingSurf Grom’s Surf Club Returns for 2026: Surf Lessons for Kids in Cornwall
f your kids have been itching to get back in the water, the wait is over. The KingSurf Grom’s Club is officially back for 2026, bringing fun, safe, and engaging kids surf lessons in Cornwall after a long, wet winter.
Starting May 5th, 2026, our popular surf club will run every Tuesday evening through to mid-July, giving young surfers the chance to build confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy the ocean with experienced instructors.

From learning how to pop up in white water to improving turns on green waves, every session is tailored to help kids grow in confidence in the surf.
2026 Schedule & Key Details
- When: Tuesdays, 5:00pm – 6:30pm
- Dates: May 5th – July 7th, 2026
- Autumn Sessions: Resume September 8th after school holidays
- Price: £5 per session (cash, paid at the surf school)
Who Can Join?
Our kids surfing club in Cornwall is open to:
- Children aged 7 and up
- Confident swimmers (must be able to swim 50m in a pool)
Safety is always our top priority, and our experienced instructors ensure every child feels supported in the water.
What to Bring
We keep things simple so your child can focus on having fun:
Bring:
- Swimsuit
- Towel
- Warm clothes for after the session
Optional:
- Your own wetsuit
- Your own soft-top surfboard
👉 For safety reasons, please do not bring hard boards.
We provide all essential surf equipment, making this one of the most accessible and affordable children’s surf lessons in Cornwall.
