Kingsurf first in UK to ride the new Wave Jet motorized board on waves!
They have yet to hit the shops here and this is the first time they have been used in the waves in the UK.
The boards are powered by a small jet ski like device that is fixed into the bottom of the board and is operated by a wrist watch size device that the surfer wears whist riding the board.
I can’t believe how much fun they are! To be able to get out beyond the waves without a single arm stroke. All we had to do is lie on the board and let the wave jet do all the work. We even managed to stand on the board whilst heading out the back.
To catch a wave we merely had to press a button on the the wrist control and we were off with out a single paddle. We were really impressed by the performance of the boards on the wave and in the flat water. The one’s we have been using were shaped by Walden surf boards so you can’t fault the shape of the board for performance.
The wave jets are battery operated and just need to be charged to re use.
Can’t wait to own one my self. Big thanks to Gary for letting the kingsurf instructors be the first to try them out on the waves in Mawgan Porth.
