Kingsurf boy's Tim and Scuba complete a 100 mile fundraise cycle ride for cancer research.
Posted on Monday, 11 April 2011
The boy's have been city bound this winter and have replaced their surf boards for bikes. They have manged to gain such a high standard of fitness by cycling that they decided to give a 100 mile bike ride from the south coast to the north coast of cornwall a go! We went down to Bodmin yesterday to great the boys as they crossed the finish line. Suprisingly the first words to come out their mouth was " What's the surf doing, shall we go?" This cycle ride was extreemly difficult and was covered in lots of steep hills. The girls Juila and Ruth also completed an impressive 73 mile cycle in a respectable time putting my camel trail 8mile ride to shame! Well done everyone! Check out the vid of the event from the kilo to go website.
